The first shirt was actually the right size. So a bigger shirt really wouldn’t work and still fit the rest of his body. The easier solution was to remove the arms and head. Then put on the shirt and then reconnect the arms. A foam body would fill out the chest and pants better. Not for this puppet, but maybe for the next.
The next puppet body will be a more robust design.

I made a first attempt at a shirt for the stop motion puppet. The shirt came out too small. It doesn’t help that the puppets head is too big for his body. I will have to upsize the pattern a bit and try again tomorrow.

His feet are made out of epoxy putty, aluminum wire, and magnets.
Just a test pair, but functional. ModelMagic would have worked just as well as the epoxy for this test.
Just finished sewing a pair of pants for the stop motion puppet.
Too wide at the waste. Will have to cut out some of the fabric at the hips and resew. Will have to add a velcro fly to allow the pants to go on and off.

My stop motion armature returned today. He now has the start of a skull. Though he did seem a bit distraught after the game.

After looking at what is suggested on the web, I decided to try out a low cost armature for a stop motion puppet.
The shoulders and hips are both made out of one continuous braid of wire. The problem with this is that adjusting the right leg ends up adjusting the left. Will have to try again without this.
I would adjust the first one but I can’t find it any more. I am worried…
I am trying out some software by Dragon Stop Motion. So far so good. It connects to my Sony HDR – HC7 very easily. I have had no problems with the software directly, but my Contour ShuttlePro V2 doesn’t recognize the software. So that is a little inconvenient. I am running it on a Mac Mini rather my pc.
