Four Against Darkness Printing

Four Against Darkness Printing

Four Against Darkness is a solo dungeon crawl where the player controls a party of four characters. The core rules allow for characters of classes Warrior, Cleric, Rogue, Wizard, Barbarian, Elf, Dwarf, and Halfling. This game came out in 2016, so I am a little late to the party. There have been many modules and adventures released to build on the core rules, so there is plenty of material to make the game worth investigating now.

I printed and bound the book similar to how I finished the 2D6 Dungeon. This used the Royal Sundance Natural Paper with the Sylvamo Accent Opaque Digital card stock for the cover.

The unattached text block on the printed cover.

After trimming and gluing the cover to the spine of the text block.

On the back I placed a flow chart that is based on one in the text. This design was enhanced by Mike Keller (madmak72) and made available on boardgamegeek.com.

You can see that the title I placed on the spine didn’t end up where I wanted it. Will have to work on this for the next book I bind.

Text block opened to a random page showing the shapes of the entrance rooms.

My next post will look at converting the additional pages that Mike Keller produced to a bound adventure journal to track the characters on their quests.
